Tom started his career in acoustics specialising in noise tests on outdoor machinery (Excavators, Generators, Garden equipment, etc) following current UK & EU legislation requirements.

Tom now works predominantly in the wider fields of environmental and building acoustics, assisting clients with the noise requirements of their planning applications, and the design of buildings to ensure that optimal internal acoustic conditions are achieved.

Tom’s interest in acoustics (and the science of sound in general) was initially fuelled by his love of music, to this day he continues to entertain/annoy your average pub-goer with his guitar playing at the weekend.
