John Connell Awards 2025

What a fantastic evening at the John Connell Awards 2025 – the renowned “Noise Oscars” – held at the Palace of Westminster on 22nd October.

Kindly hosted by The Lord Balfe and presented by Emma Hardy MP (Defra) and Dr Danny Chambers MP for Winchester, the event celebrated innovation, sustainability, and excellence in sound and acoustics.

Philip Dunbavin thoroughly enjoyed the evening, connecting with industry peers and seeing the amazing work being recognised across the industry. Congratulations to all the winners and nominees, including Sustainable Acoustics Ltd and Mason UK, winners of the John Connell Sustainable Development Award 2025 for their outstanding project “Acoustics for a Sustainable Future: The Carbon Benefits of Isolating Retrofits.”

It’s always inspiring to see how acoustic innovation continues to make our environments healthier, quieter, and more sustainable.
