Edmund has worked in the acoustics industry for 19 years and joined PDA in 2004. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Audio Technology from Salford University and is a member of the Institute of Acoustics.
During his years in acoustics, he has become experienced in all areas of acoustics including hand-arm and whole-body vibration assessments, workplace noise exposure assessments, environmental impact assessments, computer modelling techniques, ground-borne vibration, and architectural acoustics.
In recent years Edmund has specialised in architectural acoustics and has successfully completed the acoustic design of a number of large-scale projects, managing all aspects of the developmentās acoustics from initial site survey to final commissioning as part of a multi-disciplinary project team. Special interests include investigation techniques to determine the cause of poor acoustic performance and specification of suitable remedial treatment to meet the project requirements.
