CEES conference

During the week of the 12^th – 15^th October, the international conference for construction, energy, environment, and sustainability (CEES 2021, https://cees2021.uc.pt) took place at the historical town of Coimbra, Portugal as well as an online event portal due to the global pandemic.

PDA’s CEO, Philip Dunbavin (https://www.pdaltd.com), presented his paper to an audience on “sustainable acoustic design in construction – a holistic approach”.

The paper explores the concept and identifies the challenges that acoustic consultants face in the implementation of acoustic design to meet sustainable specifications and how the acoustic future can meet these requirements if working collaboratively with construction companies.
